1. The core principle of economics is- "Conserve your resources, because resources are always scarce."
2. We need to look at this whole crisis of conflict, in respect of West Asia, from this perspective or thoughts of angle.
3. Because ultimately, all the activities in nature, whether by the vegetation cover, the wildlife, or the human being, are to store and conserve energy.
4. There's nothing wrong with this principle except the entry of human beings, who, through their line of thought-driven activities, have transformed this balanced environmental and ecological relationship to an imbalance. 
5. So all these conflicts are the by-products of that imbalance of energy resource relationship.

    

1. In environmental studies, we have a topic of “ecological relationships” in which there are 6 types of relationships, out of this 02 are most important, but, opposite to each other.
2. One is “mutualism” and the second is “predatory”, the diagram is given above.
3. In a predator-prey relationship, the existence of the prey species would be lost to sustain the Consumer (hunting) species
4. The energy security in Today's geopolitics infuses this "Predator relationship" as the human being has violated the natural law of  "Real Time Energy Demand".

Brief Description of West Asia -&- Middle East

      

1. West Asia is the border between the rest of Asia and Europe where we have two important water bodies Caspian Sea and Black Sea. 
2. The Caucas Mountains are the border line between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, from Europe to Asia. 
3. To the southwest, we have the Mediterranean Sea. 
4. North of the Mediterranean Sea, we have Europe, south of this we have Africa, and to the east, we have Asia.
5. West Asia includes 13 countries, where we have Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, and Oman as Gulf countries. 
6. In addition to this, Gulf countries Yemen, Jordan, Israel, Philippines, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia are the rest Asian countries. 
7. Combination of these  02 group is West Asia.
8. Now, when we combine West Asia with Egypt it is known as the "Middle East". 
9. From where did the term Middle East originate? It is a religious factor. 
10. Before the formation of Israel's Yahudi (Jews) were used to pray facing "Jerusalem", which was known as the center of the East.

The five major "PRIME" reasons for "International Conflicts"

Security Reason

     

1. Here we can take the example of the smaller economies (Countries, in general) always have a threat of insecurity from the larger economies. 
2. For example, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, and most prominently Iran are having against the Western world. 
3. This is the reason that before 1979, the Iranian government was maintaining a very friendly relationship with America just to secure its security against the surrounding "Arab Mu#slim Sunni countries".
4. Or what could be another example, when India was having, in the past, against China not now.
5. This is the reason in this whole region we are finding various militant groups and their respective activities, which is the physical form of the first front security, and the second front Islamic dominance.

 

Economic Reasons-

       

1. The Middle East, the world's most prominent energy resource-rich region, every large economy has ensured its economic interest, in respect of Oil and gas energy, in this region, primarily led by America ( The USA).
2. Presently 4 major countries are having a larger presence first America, second Russia, third China and fourth India.
3. Both China and  India fulfill their respective energy demand concerning oil in natural gas from this region.
4. India is the third-largest energy-consuming economy, and we import about 85% of oil and natural gas, accounting for almost 42% from the Persian Gulf region.

 

Geo-political Interference-

      

1. "Relevancy" and the "Recognition" is also a kind of energy a country or its head draw from surrounding society just to establish it's dominance over the contemporary players.
2. So, it becomes important for the leading economies, primarily the USA, Russia, and China, to maintain their respective geopolitical interference in this region.
3. Just to counter, checks -& balances each other, so no one can establish its geopolitical dominance in world affairs.

NOTE - 

India's also there, but not from the perspective of the geopolitical world affairs dominance. India is more of an investor, to secure its desired energy demand.

• 03 prominent supporters, in this region of the USA, are Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.
• Whereas, for Russia, it is Iran, Afghanistan, and Turkey. 
• From a geopolitical perspective, Russia also maintains its good relationships with Central Asian countries.
• For China, it is Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan.

Dominance- As a Reason-

     

1. This Middle East region is "primarily a Mu#slim religious identity" region.
2. We know the Muslims are divided into two sects: first, Shia, and second, Sunni. 
3. Being a Mu#slim, both according to Isl#amic traditions, maintain and practice different Isla#mism.
4. Iran is a Shia Mu#slim dominated country, whereas the rest of the Middle East Sunni Is#lam-dominated region.
5. Now, in this region the Is#lam has adopted 03 lines of action.
6. First, all Islamic Arab countries want falling downfall of Israel so that the whole region maintains Is#lamic identity, in which Israel is like a dark spot, the only non-Islamic country Middle East.
7. In the Middle East, the Is#lamic leadership rests with Saudi Arabia, which is a staunch ally of the USA, which is something not accepted by Iran.
8. Iran wishes to be a new Islamic world leader; for this, it has to displace Saudi Arabia as an Islamic world leader.
9. So, it needs to cut the routes of Saudi Arabia, which is America.
10. America is a military might; by accepting this, Iran thinks it needs to develop the nuclear bomb to counter Saudi Arabia by challenging America.
11. If this happens, it would send a message in the Islamic world that Iran is now more powerful than Saudi Arabia, so, automatically, the Islamic leadership will shift towards Iran.

 

Existence- Reason-

     

1. Out of all the above four mentioned reasons, the last one is the most important and with respect to Israel.
2. Arabs want to be dominant and end the existence of the Israeli state (the Jewish state) in the Islamic world.
3. Israel got its home country in the year 1948 after centuries of sacrifices and struggles.
4. So, it would be something like a loss of “home” for Israel and Israeli citizens.
5. It is a matter of existence from the side of Israel, which thinks,
6. I would fight and would sacrifice my life, the first line of thought in general is not accepted, but, 
7. second line of thought which is, "I would fight, but, I would, also, secured to be alive," is more acceptable to Israel, and,is  Israel is working on it.

Now, look closely at these five reasons we used to see these 5 reasons from our home surroundings to Geopolitics.

So, 

1. Because in West Asia, we are finding all these 5 reasons of geopolitical international conflict, and 
2. The combination of the above 5 factors that West Asia, from its long history, has been in a state of conflict or turmoil.
